If you need to cancel your Placify Pro subscription, the process is managed through your Apple ID — just like any other App Store subscription. Placify itself doesn’t handle billing directly, so all subscription management happens in your Apple account settings.

How to cancel

Follow these steps on your iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name at the top of the screen (your Apple ID).
  3. Tap “Subscriptions.”
  4. Find Placify in your list of active subscriptions and tap it.
  5. Tap “Cancel Subscription” (or “Cancel Free Trial” if you’re still in your trial period).
  6. Confirm the cancellation when prompted.

You can also manage subscriptions from the App Store app:

  1. Open the App Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap “Subscriptions.”
  4. Find Placify and follow the same steps to cancel.

What happens after canceling

When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. You won’t receive a refund for the remaining time, but you’ll continue to enjoy full Pro access until the period ends.

For example, if you’re on a monthly plan billed on the 1st and you cancel on the 10th, your Pro features will remain active until the end of the month. You won’t be charged again for the following month.

Important notes

  • Canceling is different from requesting a refund. If you believe you’re entitled to a refund, you’ll need to request one through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Deleting the Placify app from your device does not cancel your subscription. You must follow the steps above to stop being billed.
  • Your saved places and data remain intact even after your subscription expires. See our guide on what happens when Pro expires for details.
