Yes. You can add a custom place by long-pressing on an empty area of the map, or when no results are found during search.
On the map or in the place list, long-press a place to select multiple places, and you’ll see the Merge Places option.
After merging places, photos and tag data from the original places are combined into one. Visit data is recalculated accordingly, and none of your photos will be deleted or lost.
Currently, place merges cannot be undone. However, we offer multiple convenient ways to add and organize places.
Yes. After a photo is moved, visit records will be updated accordingly.
It is an enhanced version of the previous link import feature. When you import a link, it will automatically be added as a reference to the corresponding place.
You can also manually add references from the place detail.
By default, all imported images are added to each recognized place.
If you prefer to organize them differently, you can manually drag and drop images to the appropriate place.
Link parsing is based on publicly available content and map data. In some cases, recognition may not be fully accurate.
After importing, you can edit the place, modify or delete the generated summary, remove unnecessary places or adjust image assignments.
Opening hours and ratings are sourced from public map data providers. If the information appears incorrect, it may be due to delayed updates, temporary changes by the business, or third-party data synchronization delays.
We will provide a manual correction feature in a future update.
Travel
Open the View screen, switch to the Travel view, and tap the add button. Follow the prompts to choose a city and set your travel dates or trip length. You can also add places you've already saved.
Yes. Open the place's details in your trip, tap the More (…) menu, and choose Add to Stay. You can then set the check-in and check-out dates. To change it back, choose Remove from Stay. The place stays in your itinerary, while its stay dates and check-in and check-out times are cleared.
Automatic check-in considers your trip dates, today's itinerary, and location or photo evidence, so it may not happen as soon as you arrive. Make sure your trip dates are correct, the place is on today's itinerary, and Placify has the location and photo access it needs. You can also manually check in from the place details in today's itinerary.
Manual check-in is available for unvisited places on today's itinerary during an active trip. Make sure the trip is in progress, the place is on today's itinerary, and it hasn't already been marked as visited.
Allowing Always location access lets Placify record your route during a trip, so you can review where you went that day and discover places you may have visited. Location is used for Travel only, and you can turn it off at any time in your device settings.
The track in your daily recap is based on location points actually recorded during your trip. Background activity, location permissions, or signal conditions can leave gaps, so the track may not show every part of your journey. A planned route is not used as a substitute for your recorded track.
